I am not a happy person. Not at all. I don't know why.
If you are still reading this, I am assuming you are not either. I don't know why. Maybe you are too quiet, or too talkative; too fat, or too thin; or just too average. Just too bad. Maybe no one likes you, or maybe everyone likes you, but nobody loves you. Maybe you know why you are so messed up, or maybe you don't. Or maybe, everything but you is messed up. Whatever it is, let it be. I will leave it to you. Let's just talk, and not judge.
Now, the golden rules.
- Nature is always against you. Never forget this.
evidence:
- It rains, when you have to get up early, or especially hard when you are wearing that new dress, whose colour runs.
- The sun scorches your eyeballs out, just when you choose to take a day off, and you are feeling all warm and fuzzy.
- It has to be windy the day you finally decide to wear that beautiful skirt of yours, and you have to cross a lot of roads that day, scampering about holding onto your fragile dignity. Which, by the way, mostly ends up broken by the end of the day.
- And then, there are earthquakes, cyclones and tsunamis.
- It rains, when you have to get up early, or especially hard when you are wearing that new dress, whose colour runs.
- God does not love you. He only loves terrorists.
evidence:
- If you believe he does, try expressing it to the mother who can't prevent her child from dying of hunger, or to the child who has lost his entire family to a war.
- There are miracles. But there are more sufferings in this world, mostly unexplained. Why else would it be, that if you are reading this simple blog entry, you are luckier than 98% of the people on this planet?
- Personally, it always gets bad when you are happy, and worse when you are sad.
- Unlike what religion perpetrates, most are either given too little or too much than they can handle. Most end up desolate or broken.
- If you believe he does, try expressing it to the mother who can't prevent her child from dying of hunger, or to the child who has lost his entire family to a war.
- Dreams and destiny don't exist. Don't believe in them.
evidence:
- You don't get what you need, never what you want, only just what you get.
- Sometimes, what you end up with is the exact opposite of what you wanted to end up with.
- Your days are forever peppered with surprises, or rather, shocks.
- The only way someone could better his life is by pushing someone else down. You win, as long as you beat the system. That's the cost of dreams.
- If you let life take its course, it'll eventually eat you up.
- Don't listen to people. They are stupid, including you.
evidence:
- Look at who the current American president is. (You know we are degenerating even further if Sarah Palin becomes VP)
- Going for therapy is like paying someone to be your friend.
- There is nothing logical about our being.
- Yet, we always value ourselves and our decisions over others'. We would blame someone's misery on their bad karma, but would never do the same for ours'.
- We are always harping on morality and losing ourselves in ethical arguments, when actually, we are all immoral in one way or another, and surely unethical.
- And most of us are just empty. No one has any real answers for anything, just explanations. Which don't hold any water, anyway.
- Look at who the current American president is. (You know we are degenerating even further if Sarah Palin becomes VP)
Life sucks.
I feel like I am a freaking hamster in The Brain's laboratory.

1 whispers:
"The only way someone could better his life is by pushing someone else down. You win, as long as you beat the system. That's the cost of dreams."
Tell me about it. We face it every day. And there's no escaping it. Life's like that. People are like that.
